Shine-Yoga is a holistic approach designed to enhance your overall wellbeing and offer practical tools for bringing the power of yoga into everyday life. Sometimes dynamic, sometimes gentle, our classes always offer more than physical postures. We combine Empowering Vinyasa Flow with inspiration from Anusara and Tantric-inspired Hatha Yoga, weaving in subtle-body principles that make the practice accessible and deeply felt for everyone.

Rooted in ancient Hatha and Tantric traditions, our style views yoga as a full system for energy management, nervous-system balance, and inner transformation. Rather than treating movement, breath, meditation, and energetic awareness as separate elements, they are interwoven into one unified practice. Postures, pranayama, mudra, bandha, mantra, and mindful awareness come together to harmonise body, mind, and energy.

By leveraging the best elements of each yoga style, you build strength, mobility, stability, and deep relaxation in a safe and intuitive way. Each class includes a breathing session and a flow practice, guided by anatomical, spiritual, or philosophical themes. The slower, more meditative elements of Tantric-inspired Hatha Yoga help regulate the nervous system, cultivate presence, and create space for deeper consciousness to arise.

When we practice together, yoga becomes a pathway not only to release stress and tension but also to connect with yourself on a deeper level. You learn to move with more ease, awareness, and grace. Through breath, subtle-body work, and energetic practices, you begin to feel the impact of prana – the life-force that fuels vitality, clarity, and radiance.

In our practice, we seamlessly link movement with breath, flowing into poses to fully experience their benefits and release energy. This not only brings about a blissful sensation in the body but also imparts the wisdom of practicing action with integrity – a quality crucial not only in yoga but also in activities like surfing, dancing, and life in general.

The term “vinyasa” translates to “arranging something in a special way,” a concept reflected in the coordination of movement with breath in Vinyasa Flow Yoga. This powerful and connected practice facilitates a seamless flow from one pose to the next, offering the potential for deep and even spiritual experiences. As you engage in this journey, you’ll find yourself shining from within, embracing the transformative power of the practice.

Nervous system reset

In Yin or Restorative Yoga we relax we invite gentleness and surrender into poses with long deep breaths and find our balance in and out of our comfort zone. We become content. The face softens and we start to glow. For a Yin Yoga class the focus is on a quiet, slow practice with long breaths to create space between muscles, bones and tissue. This deliberate approach induces deep relaxation, releasing both physical tension and stagnant emotions. We calm our whole system through releasing the facia and addressing the Meridians aka Nadis (energy lines that carry Prana -our life force energy- known as Meridians in Chinese medicine). You´ll love the SENSATION you feel when you can totally relax into a pose and let go.
